About CTS

Churches Together in Stansted comprises the five churches in Stansted.

We run children’s activities most weeks.

In October we arrange the Village Harvest Supper to which everyone is invited.

Messy Church began in October 2015, and is being arranged jointly by the churches.  The event is for families, primarily with children under 12, but older children are welcome as long as they come with an adult.

Each Lent (or the church season before Easter) we offer a study course. In 2014 we supported a community defibrillator appeal instead of offering a course. We ran a Pilgrim course for Lent 2015, and a weekly course using  online materials is now running during  Lent 2016.

Each Christmas we hold a Celebration and organise Carol Singing round the village.

We run a foodbank for Stansted throughout the year.

Churches Together in Stansted holds regular Forum meetings comprising volunteers from all churches

Each month one of our churches contribute a ‘Thought for The Month’ in our village magazine The Link which also has information about what is happening in each church.
