At our fifth Messy Church, theme was God is Amazing and craft activities included making fresh fruit kebabs, magic paper flowers, colouring posters, making God’s eyes from wool, and playdough for the younger children.

To demonstrate how amazing our bodies can be children were given challenges like throwing and catching bean bags, hopping, jumping and hula-hooping.  There was amazing singing and dancing during the celebration too.  So there is something for everyone!

As well as a core of people from the churches in Stansted who planned the event, many others contributed to the preparation, including food for the tea – all helping to make this a free afternoon for the families in Stansted. Thanks again to St Mary’s School for supporting us.
