Over 70 adults and children attended our Christmas Messy Church, where the theme was Giving. Activities included: reverse Advent Calendar (where each day during December, items are placed in boxes or bags to give away to those less fortunate); matching and building block games; making gifts; decorating biscuits; playdough modelling. We were pleased to welcome a professional face painter, who will be returning to future events. The celebration time ended with the lights turned off in the hall and children holding up their lighted jam jar lanterns which they had made during the activity time.
