It was good to welcome 63 people, some of whom we had not seen for quite a while, to our first Messy Church of 2019.  There were also several families attending for the first time.  There were lots of activities around the theme of light: growing cress; shadow puppets; building a brick lighthouse; making paper craft candles; science table; playdough; drawing and colouring.  There was also a very special magic torch which was used in a darkened hall during the celebration. A delicious tea rounded up the afternoon.
