Our April session was on Good Friday and we were very pleased to have the use of St John’s Hall and Church, as our usual school venue was closed for the holidays.  Nearly 50 people enjoyed exploring the theme of Showing Love through a variety of crafts ranging from making Easter cards, gardens, and baskets to bead crosses and yummy chocolate crispy nests.

There was also time for drawing and colouring, and the playdough was transformed into small baskets.  The celebration was held in the church and then it was back into the hall for hot cross buns, cakes and drinks.

The next Messy Church is on Sunday 21st May 3.30 – 5 pm at our usual venue St Mary’s School.  See you there!
